Age criteria to visit snowfall in Manali
There are no such criteria to visit snowfall in Manali. It’s only mentioned to educate you till what age people should visit the place. According to a recent survey by Ankit travel stories. Above 55 years of age, people are not favourable for January & February travelling to Manali. Because its a period when heavy snowfall occurred in Manali & nearby areas. How to travel Manali in January month?
Numerous people are travelling every year in Manali. But few have knowledge about the place before going there. I would recommend you to take the best consultant advice for this matter before living in Manali. However, the below details will help you to make out the best itinerary for the winter period.
Transport often matter to reach Manali. There are three modes of transport to reach Manali.
1) Bhuntar Airport
Bhuntar airport is closest to Manali. It will take hardly 2-3 hrs to reach Manali from the airport & its just 80 km away. But there is only a single Air India flight is in operation. But the flight charges are too much for per way. For example, you are coming from Delhi to bhuntar. It will charge around 15000-2000 per side for a single person.

But yes, if you are coming to visit in winter, especially during January and February month. Then be careful about Volvo travel. Because of the maximum times, Volvo drops before 15-20 km from Manali near patlikul. Because of heavy snowfall. Volvo can not be ply on snow because of the chances of slipped. Then the guest had to arrange their pick up my own. None of the companies provides pick up from Patlikul. Only 4×4 vehicles work on snow & heavy vehicles. There are 90 % guest book single alto for pick up drop-in Manali with sightseeing. But also has small wheels due to this alto driver do not take a chance of life in heavy snowfall.
How can we reach Manali if Volvo dropped before Manali Volvo stand?

It totally depends upon the visitors to take clothes on rent for a Snow point visit. Because there are no restrictions by NGT. But I would personally recommend you to choose snow clothes. Because it will help you to save you warms clothes from wetting. Whenever we visit the snow point. We become a child & try to make a ball of snow & shoot it on our friends. In that case, we forgot that our clothes can be wet.
Charges of snow costume in Manali
The good news now the government has fixed the prices for snow costume in Manali. Before 2018 May rates were flexible. Shopkeepers charge extra during the time of the season in Manali.
Fixed-price is 250 per head for snow costume & if you have required Shoes & Sox with it, then you would have to pay INR 100 extra for this.
Where to take costume on rent in Manali?
There are several shops where you can take the costume in Manali. But the best option is near Nehru Kund or him valley. There are around 50 shops together. You can choose clothes from any of the shops all the people are very good at interaction.
